Jody joined the Holland Landing Animal Hospital team in the spring of 2019. She has a wealth of experience working with a wide variety of animals in both clinical and wildlife educational settings. After receiving her Bachelor of Sciences degree at the University of Guelph, she moved to Alberta to complete a wildlife rehabilitation internship. She then returned to Ontario to complete the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College. Following the completion of the program at Seneca, she proceeded to become the head technician of the Avian/Exotic/Wildlife/Zoo department at the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI. She has since spent the last 4 years in small animal general practice and is excited to bring her experience and friendly disposition to the Holland Landing Animal Hospital team. She lives with her husband and their 3 cats, Squish, Bear, and Dummie. When she is not diligently working to care for our patients, she enjoys snuggling her kitties with a good book, hiking in Northern Ontario, and gardening.
