At Holland Landing Animal Hospital, we take care of your pet inside and out. Diagnostic tools like ultrasound and X-ray help us take care of your pet's internal organs. We offer on-site radiography, which is a quick diagnostic step for many disorders. To book your pet's next ultrasound or X-ray, call us at 905-853-3591.

Are ultrasound procedures invasive?

Ultrasound is a gentle and non-invasive imaging technology that helps veterinarians quickly and accurately evaluate and diagnose pets. It uses ultrasonic waves to examine the internal organs of your pet to identify the cause of your pet's symptoms.

How should I prepare my pet for an ultrasound?

Often pets need to fast for 8 to 12 hours before the procedure. If the bladder is being examined, your pet's bladder needs to be full for the scan. This means you cannot let your pet urinate 3 to 4 hours before the procedure.

How much does the X-ray service cost at your hospital?

All of our veterinary fees are as per the OVMA fee guide or lower. Please do not hesitate to discuss any costs with our office manager before treatment. An approximate estimate is always available for all the procedures. You can call us at 905-853-3591 to learn more or ask our office manager during your visit to the hospital.
