Veterinary Exam

Book your pet's next wellness exam to keep them happy and healthy.

Just like your car needs regular tune-ups, your pet needs regular veterinary exams. A veterinary exam is a routine check-up on your pet's overall health and well-being. These check-ups allow the veterinarian to conduct a full physical examination and catch any diseases or conditions that might be hiding. If left unnoticed for long, diseases can fester and turn into fatal conditions. Routine veterinary check-ups are the perfect solution to stay up-to-date with your pet's health and ensure their safety. To schedule your pet's next veterinary exam, give us a call at 905-853-3591.

When should I schedule my pet's annual veterinary exam?

If you have a new puppy or kitten, you should bring them in for a veterinary exam as soon as possible to ensure they are healthy and to administer the necessary vaccines. If you have an adult pet, they require yearly visits that can be scheduled at any time. For senior pets, most vets suggest two yearly visits as older pets battle various health conditions.

What is checked during a veterinary exam?

An exam includes an examination of your pet's skin and exterior, followed by temperature, heart and pulse rate, and weight check. It can also include the administration of vaccines and boosters or diagnostic procedures such as bloodwork and X-ray.
